For a marriage license, please contact the Prothonotary and Clerk of Courts office.
Marriage License Information
Be sure to bring a form on I.D. (like a birth certificate or drivers license)
Must have a document with your current address
Social Security Card is required
In the case of a previous marriage, we require a certified copy of the last divorce decree
In the case of a previous marriage terminated due to death, we require a death certificate
There is a three (3) day waiting period from your time of filing
The License is good for 60 days from date of issuance
There is a $45.00 filing fee for the Marriage License Application
Due to the time required to process an application, 4:00pm is the latest to begin a Marriage License Application
